Men’s Team Canada Ring Presentation Featured

The National Ball Hockey Association of Canada Men`s Team Canada unveiled their championship rings on Saturday, November 4 at the Celebration of Excellence Awards Dinner.

Twelve members of the team and staff were in attendance receiving their rings during the evening’s proceedings.

The 'RING' - the uniqueness of silver polish included the following:

TOP BEZEL

·         Canada Logo over top in Red with CANADA in colour of ring
·         WORLD across the top
·         CHAMPIONS across the bottom
·          39 stones * (6 stones down left side,  6 stones down right side and  27 stones on the top around the leaf) 

 

* 39 stones (18 represented the players and staff, 18 represented their families, 3 goals scored in the Championship Final)

* 39 goals is the difference between GF 50 and GA 11 for the team

 

AROUND THE TOP BEZEL

Every player number

·         24   *     91    *     9 (Under CHAMPIONS the two stones between the numbers would represent the two WBHF Championships in 2013 and 2017)
·         3      4    10    12   15 (left side)
·         16   17   18    27   30 (back side)
·         31   71   72    89   90 (right side)
·         One stone in each corner in the row of numbers for the Four Triangle System
·         The 6 stones would be reflective of the teams 6-0 record
