Women's Team Canada Names The Captain Featured

Vaughan, Canada – The National Ball Hockey Association of Canada is proud to name and congratulate the Women's captain for the 2022 World Ball Hockey Championship.

Melissa Miller will lead the group into Slovakia.  The Kingston, Ontario native has been a leader in the locker room and continues to mould the group and young players the program has brought in over the years.

Miller has been with the program since 2013 and been a part of three gold and one silver medal wins.

“It’s an honour, it’s such a storied program” expressed Miller “We have a locker room full of great players and a bunch of great leaders.”

“We have a great group of young women leading our players, who are all prepared to lead the team in 2022" stated Terry King, Head Coach.

The 2022 World Ball hockey Federation Championships will be hosted in Bratislava, Slovakia the week of June 19-25.
